The owner of the note can recognize the image and voice of its original owner, i.e. a god of death.

The human who touches the DEATH NOTE can recognize the image and voice of its original owner, a god of death, even if the human is not the owner of the note.
데스노트와 접촉한 사람은 노트의 소유자가 아니라도 원주인인 사신의 모습과 목소리를 인지할 수 있다.
The person in possession of the DEATH NOTE is possessed by a god of death, its original owner, until they die.

If a human uses a note, a god of death usually appears in front of him/her within 39 days after he/she uses the note.

If you lose the DEATH NOTE or have it stolen, you will lose its ownership unless you retrieve it within 490 days.

As individual with the eye power of a god of death can tell the name and life span of other humans by looking at that person's face. By possessing the DEATH NOTE, an individual gains the ability to kill, and steps being a victim. From this point, a person with the DEATH NOTE cannot see the life span of other DEATH NOTE owners, including him/herself. But , it is not really necessary for the individual to view the life span of him/herself other DEATH NOTE owners.

If is prerequisite for the DEATH NOTE used un the human world that a god of death make ssure that the humans in the human world use it.

In order to see the names and life spans of humans by using the eye power of the god of death, the owner must look at more than half of that person's face. When looking from top to bottom, he must look at least from the head to the nose. If he looks at on-ly the eyes and under, he will not be able to see the person's name and life span. Also, even though some parts of the face. for example the eyes, nose or mouth are hidden, if he can basically see the whole face, he will be able to see the person's name and life span. it is still not clear how much exposure is needed to tell the name and life span, and this needs to be verified.
사신의 눈으로 인간의 이름, 수명을 볼 때에는 그 인간의 얼굴 좌우로 반 이상을 보아야 하며, 상하의 경우에는 머리부터 코까지 볼 필요가 있고, 눈 아래를 보면 이름, 수명은 보이지 않는다. 또한 얼굴의 일부 눈 코 입 등이 숨겨져 있어도 얼굴전체가 보인다면 이름, 수명을 보는 것은 가능하다. 숨겨진 부분이 얼굴의 몇%를 차지해야 이름, 수명이 보이는지는 직접 검증할 수밖에 없다.

상기의 조건을 클리어하면 얼마나 과거의 것이든 상관없이 사진이나 영상을 통해 이름, 수명을 보는 것이 가능하나 그 경우에는 크기나 선명도에 따라 보이지 않는 경우가 있다. 또한 아무리 사실적이라 하더라도 얼굴 그림으로는 이름과 수명이 보이지 않는다.
Those with the eye power of the god of death will have the eyesight of over 3.6 in the human measurement, regardless of their original eyesight.
사신의 눈을 지닌 인간은 원래 시력에 상관없이 인간계에서 3.6 이상의 시력이 된다.
The individuals who lose the ownership of the DEATH NOTE will also lose their memory of usage of the DEATH NOTE. This does not mean that he will lose all the memory from the day he owned it to the day he loses possession, but means he will on-ly lose the memory involving the DEATH NOTE.

Whenever an individual with ownership of more than two DEATH NOTE loses possession to on-e of the DEATH NOTE, he will not be able to recognize that DEATH NOTE's god of death's appearance or voice anymore. The god of death himself will leave, but all the memory involving that DEATH NOTE will remain as long as he maintains ownership of at least on-e other DEATH NOTE.

The god of death must not hand the DEATH NOTE directly to a child under 6years of age(based on the human calendar).
사신은 인간에게 데스노트를 직접 건넬 경우, 인간계 단위로 만6세 미만의 인간에게는 노트를 건넬 수 없다.
사신은 인간에게 데스노트를 직접 건넬 경우, 인간계 단위로 만6세 미만의 인간에게는 노트를 건넬 수 없다.
The DEATH NOTE must not be handed to a child under 6 years of age, but DEATH NOTEs that have been dropped into the human world, and are part of the human world, can be used upon humans of any age with the same effect.

If you just write, "die of accident" for the cause of death, the victim will die from a natural accident after 6 minutes and 40 seconds from the time of writing it.
사고사라고만 쓰고 죽음의 상황을 쓰지 않은 경우는 그로부터 6분 40초 이후, 최단으로 부자연스럽지 않은 사고를 만나 사망한다.
Even though on-ly on-e name is written in the DEATH NOTE, if it influences and causes other humans that are not written in to die, the victim's cause of death will be a heart attack.
사고사의 죽음의 상황은 설사 그 때 사망하는 인간이 이름을 적은 자만이라 할지라도, 인간계의 환경에 커다란 영향을 초래하여 후에 그 일로 인하여 사망자가 나올 경우는 "인간을 말려들게 한다"는 일에 해당되어 심장마비로 죽게 된다.
If you write, "die of disease" with a specific disease's name and the serious time of death, there must
be a sufficient amount of time for the disease to progress. If you set time is too tight, the victim will die of a heart attack after 6 minutes and 40 seconds after completing the DEATH NOTE.
데스노트에 병사라 적고 병명과 시간을 지정한 경우, 그 병의 진행에 필요한 만큼의 시간이 지정되지 않고 무리가 따를 경우 적고난 후 40초 후에 심장마비가 된다.
If you write, "die of disease" for the cause of death, but only write a specific time of death without the actual name of disease, the human will die from an adequate disease. But the DEATH NOTE can only operate within 23days( in the human calendar). This is called the 23-day rule.
병사라고 적은 경우 병명을 쓰지 않고 시간지정을 하면, 그 시간에 적혀진 병으로 죽는다. 단, 데스노트로 조종 가능한 죽음의 시간은 인간계 단위로 23일 이내이다.
If you write, "die of disease" like before with a specific disease's name, but without a specific time, if it takes more than 24 days for the human to die the 23-day rule will not take effect and the human will die at an adequate time depending on the disease.
병사로 병명을 적고 죽음의 시간을 지정하지 않았으며 그 병으로 죽는데 24시간 이상이 걸릴 경우는 '조종 가능한 죽음의 시간은 23일 이내' 법칙이 적용되지 않고 그 병으로 죽음에 있어 적합한 시간에 죽는다.
When writing the cause and/of details of death it must be done in the 6 minutes and 40 seconds. you cannot change the victim's time of death, however soon it may be.
상기의 경우에도 사인이나 죽음의 상황 등을 다시 적는 것은 6분 40초 이내이며, 아무리 먼 미래의 죽음이라 하더라고 죽는 시간을 변경하는 것은 불가능하다.
You cannot kill humans at the age of 124 and over with the DEATH NOTE.
인간계 단위로 124세 이상의 인간은 데스노트로 죽일 수 없다.
You cannot kill humans with less than 12minutes of life left(in human calculations).
남은 수명이 인간계 단위로 12분 이하의 인간은 데스노트로 죽일 수 없다.
If you have traded the eye power of a god of death, you will see a person's primary life span in the human world.
사신과 안구의 거래를 하여 그 눈으로 보이는 인간의 수명은 인간계에 있는 데스노트와 관련되지 않은 인간계에서의 본래의 수명이다.
The names you see with the eye power of a god of death are the names needed to kill that person. You will be able to see the names even if that person isn't registered in the family registration.
또한 사신의 눈으로 보이는 인간의 이름은 '그 인간을 죽이는데 필요한 이름'이며, 아무리 호적 등에 이름이 없다고 해도 죽이는데 필요한 이름은 보인다.
The number of pages of the DEATH NOTE will never run out.
데스노트는 아무리 이름을 써도 페이지가 없어지지 않는다.
All humans will, without exception, eventually die.
인간은 언젠가 반드시, 예외없이 죽는다.
After they die, they go is MU(Nothingness).
